Trip to the Shop

Saturday, October 23rd, 2010

Took a trip to look at the truck a little while ago, here is what I found. They are moving along, now it’s almost time to start thinking about interior design…

Hydaulics working!

Thursday, February 25th, 2010

Here are some more pictures showing the trucks hydraulics working, when I get bored later I’ll make a flash game out of the pictures and make it so that people can play with it! The tubing looks a little ruff but that can be changed over time for something more stylish.

The back doors now work!

Thursday, February 25th, 2010

I have new images of the truck now with working rear suicide doors!

The next task is to begin smoothing the body, and making it one whole truck visually. It will take time, but It will be worth it to see this thing done!

Now it looks like a truck!

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

Here are some images from the side with every thing actually attached. You can’t see much detail but the profile is looking good!

The suspension is set up to handle up to 24 inch rims, now I can start drawing some custom wheels for this bad boy!

Back end almost done!

Saturday, December 12th, 2009

The back end of the truck now has a working tailgate and is now closed off the elements! It’s starting to look more like a real vehicle rather than a parts truck…

These are quick progress photos from a cell phone taken while they were working on it, and as you can see, there is a guy working on it int the back of the last picture. Proff that they are still working on it…

Working on the back

Tuesday, January 8th, 2008

I got the first pictures of my truck being worked on! It’s not much, but it is a start. The first steps toward making the back end a bed. (There is no turning back at this point…)

Before they are done, a tail gate must be added, the rear window/frame from an F150 must be added, and a wall must be built to seal the inside from weather.

At the shop

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007

I have sent my truck off to a shop to be worked on (and there was much rejoice). I won’t get it back for a long while now, considering how much work must be done to it. I have an estimate to do the work required on it (That is surprisingly low). It’s a good start we will see how things go from here

The Concept

Monday, October 1st, 2007

This is the final concept for Iron horse. I’m still not sure about the mustang front end, but I know I like the truck bed.
